St. Francis Animal Welfare is located in Fair Oak, Hampshire. Formed in
1953, it takes in both domestic and wild animals and looks after them
until they can be placed with loving homes or released back into the
wild. It is their policy to never put a healthy animal down. There are
also a number of animals residing permanently at the premises. These
include animals considered to old to be rehomed or those requiring long
term medical attention.
Current residents include cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, chinchillas,
deer, a fox, horse, pony, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, pigeons, a
seagull and parrots.
